Keep an eye out for…
Kiwi Berries!
These adorable little fruits make a great on the go snack. They're similar in size to grapes with the same bright kiwi taste we know and love! The skin is completely edible and smooth unlike typical fuzzy kiwi skin.

Fall Features:
With fall on the horizon, we’ve brought in 3 varieties of squash to the store.
Delicata squash
This beautiful squash is known for its yellow and green striped skin. The name, delicata, comes from the fact that the skin is thin and delicate. This means it’s easy to cook, no pealing involved! You can simply cut it up, remove the seeds, season to taste, and pop it in the oven until fork tender!
Butternut squash
The pinnacle of fall! This pumpkin like squash is best roasted or made into an easy 1 pot soup! Perfect for a cozy fall evening. The sweet flavor of this squash can be complemented by roasting with maple syrup and cinnamon.
Honey nut squash
The 3rd member of the trio, honey nut squash, is like butternut squash’s younger sibling. They have a similar sweet flavor and orange flesh, honey nut squash is just much smaller! This is convenient if you suspect you will not need an entire butternut squash for your meal.
New Segment!!
Now introducing… The Spice-Light!
In our weekly newsletter we will highlight one of the delightful herbs/ spices that Anabel’s has to offer and give you tips on what to use it in!
This week in the Spice-Light isssssss…
Epazote!
This herb is native to Southern Mexico and Central America. It has a very unique flavor that resembles a cross between basil and mint. Others have said it has floral, oregano, and anise notes to it. It can be found across Mexican cuisine and is sometimes brewed into tea to calm the stomach and help digestion! It is a strong flavor so first time users are advised to start will a small amount to see how you like it.
