Even though we are closed for the semester, Anabel’s Grocery wants to take the time today to say THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATRONAGE THIS SEMESTER! Without you all Anabel’s would not be able to serve the Cornell community, so for that we give our thanks and gratitude <3
Keeping Up with AEM 3385 and Semester Recap!
Last week every Anabel’s committee (Purchasing, Fundraising, Marketing, CollabEdu, and Operations) presented on how their efforts this semester created a lasting impact at the store and on campus.
CollabEdu hosted fantastic events from the Toast-A-Thon with the Durland Alternatives Library and Prison Express to our Dilmun Hill dinner, which built our strong community and challenged food injustice.
The Purchasing team worked overtime to ensure the store was stocked every week with all of our favorite produce and products.
The Fundraising team knocked it out of the park by reaching their lofty goal of over $11,000 raised in one semester.
The Operations team ensured the store was running smoothly and started the free food initiative that will continue to dismantle our injust food systems.
The Marketing team increased its reach by creating innovative TikTok and Instagram content to spread Anabel’s mission and values.
This semester’s AEM 3385 cohort helped shape the store we all know and love today; for that, we give our endless gratitude to every student’s hard work <3
