It will be this Friday, May 5th from 4:00 - 5:00 PM in front of Anabel Taylor Hall!
See you all there! :)
Dilmun Hill x Anabel’s Community Dinner!!

Our Changing Menu Earth Day Cooking Demo & Community Dinner
Last weekend, Anabel’s Grocery collaborated with the Our Changing Menu team to celebrate Earth Day! We were joined by Emeritus Professor Michael Hoffmann, former associate dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and Danielle Eiseman, a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Communication. They are authors of the book Our Changing Menu: Climate Change and the Foods We Love and Need. The book “uses a typical menu—from appetizers to desserts—to explain how the climate is challenging people in the supply chain who help bring food to your grocery store.” The book gives an overview of the global food system, the causes and impacts of climate change, and what we can all do to help.

New Anabel’s Website!
The website is currently under a revamp to better showcase our food justice blog/educational resources and our produce offerings. Check out the new home and team pages to understand Anabel’s Grocery’s missions, goals, and teams.
As our website is still under construction, we want to hear your feedback on the changes thus far. We’d appreciate it if you could fill out this survey with any suggestions or changes you want to see next semester :)
Keeping Up with AEM 3385!!
As we wrap up the semester, Anabel’s Grocery students are analyzing and presenting the social impact we have all had in our roles in-store and on committees. Each of us has worked on special projects in our committees— which, shameless plug, you can explore these committees on the new Anabel’s Grocery website under The Team page— so it has been exciting to track the work we’ve all done!
Next week’s newsletter will be a wrap-up of the semester in which we will showcase each committee’s hard work!
