SNAP Workshop TOMORROW 3/9 in Kennedy
Could you use an extra ~$250 per month for groceries? You may be eligible to receive SNAP dollars for groceries! We're experiencing a moment in time where more people are eligible to receive SNAP due to Covid expansion policies. Students are eligible to apply if you qualify for federal work study OR have an expected family contribution (EFC) of $0. OSA will be hosting a SNAP/EBT & Medicaid workshop to inform students of SNAP & Medicaid benefits. Caseworkers from Tompkins County will be present to provide guidance for your application. You will also receive information about free Medicaid services and health insurance support. Link to register: https://cornell.campusgroups.com/SACU/rsvp_boot?id=1525495

Click here to register for the event.
The Cornell Future Food Summit will engage students with an in-person workshop structured and led by Dallas Robinson of CoFED and Maya Marie of Deep Routes. Join us to uplift Afro-Indigenous foodways and wisdom with facilitators from CoFED and Deep Routes, QBPOC-led groups. We will collaborate and share knowledge, along with serving all participants locally-sourced breakfast and lunch.
Anti-Racist Action Fund Application
Do you need extra funding to support a project or event which helps to create a more equitable campus? Student orgs are encouraged to apply here for supplemental funds! Through the sale of produce donated from Dilmun Hill and the Hydroponics Club at Anabel's Grocery, the anti-racist action fund is by students, for students. The fund is managed by students from C4BL and Anabel's who strive to make Cornell a safe and accessible space for BIPOC students.
