Toast-A-Thon This Week
It’s finally what you’ve been waiting for! Toast-a-thon is here! Come stop by the event on March 24th. Our CollabEdu committee is hosting this event featuring poetry, art, education, and TOAST which will be provided by Wide Awake Bread (gluten-free options available). You and friends will learn about the Alternatives Library’s Prisoner Express program where you will get the chance to write letters + make art to send to prisoners within the program.
Don’t miss this event, it’s sure to be an amazing one! RSVP using the QR code on the flier above. All are welcome to stay or stop by.
Event Updates
Giving Day and Pi Day were a huge success! Thank you to everyone who was able to support Anabel’s last week. If you missed these events, no worries. We have other amazing events (like toast-a-thon) coming up and please continue to support Anabel’s Grocery!
More More More Products
There’s some special new additions to Anabel’s this week. This week we have….
Cramp bites from Aunt Flo's Kitchen! Aunt Flo's Kitchen is a business run by Armita Jamshidi, a Cornell '25 undergraduate student. They produce gluten-free and vegan snacks made entirely with whole ingredients (dates, walnuts, pistachios, sesame seeds, etc.) designed to help women experiencing menstrual cramps...but anyone can try and enjoy them!
Fresh flowers from Wildflower Floral! We are happy to say we will be selling these fresh flowers in store this week. A great addition to your weekly shopping, what better way to celebrate spring than to come by and grab some fresh flowers.
As long as our great regulars, we have some new things in store for you to try!
Green beans
Asparagus
Red bell pepper
Ricotta cheese
Kiwi jalapeño hot sauce
Chocolate milk from Pittsford Dairy Farm
Stargazer whole coffee beans
Eternal Flame whole coffee beans ☕☕☕
Know Any Alumni?
We are still looking for Anabel’s alumni to come share their experience in our upcoming alumni panel! We ask that they come share about their time at Anabel’s. We want to know more about what they do now, why they love it, and how their time at Anabel's helped prepare them for their future.
Feel free to reach out to
anabelgrocery@gmail.com and/or coordinators Martin (mpb96@cornell.edu) and Hannah (hg358@cornell.edu)
