Looking for support to move your organizations forward?
Below we have a section arranged by Anna Donte on the Antiracism Action Fund.
The antiracism action fund was designed in 2020 to reduce the financial barrier for groups on campus and in the community who are contributing to addressing issues of racism and/or food injustice. By selling produce generously donated by Dilmun Hill Student Farm and Hydroponics Club at Anabel’s Grocery, nearly $3,000 has been raised in two years. In the past, the grant has supported the Delta Sigma Theta sorority and Basic Needs Coalition in making 50 meal kits for students before Thanksgiving. The grant has also helped discount food orders from Watermargin, a primarily BIPOC and low-income cooperative living house. For more information on the grant, please visit the application link or email anabelscollabedu@gmail.com and cc anabelsgrocery@gmail.com.
Application Guidelines:
On or off-campus organizations engaging in anti-racism work can apply
You may request any sum of money, but we recommend anywhere from $200-500 depending on your needs
Grant recipients must track performance metrics and submit a brief memo outlining the outcomes of the event after it takes place
*Multiple groups can apply together if you are collaborating on an event
**Applications are due Monday, November 20, 2023

Producer Highlight!
This week it is our honor to highlight Via’s Cookies! Behind the cookies we all love is a woman who uses her business to make an impactful change in the world. At the heart of her business is her donations that she makes to students in need. Her experiences in high school and college made her want to give back to people who are fighting, like she did, to make ends meet while going through school. She wanted students to be able to focus on their schooling and less on how they were going to manage tuition. She wants young people to know that someone out there sees the hard work they are doing and that someone cares for them. Her business has allowed her to make donations totaling over 2,000 dollars to students!
Join us in supporting her growing business by coming into store to purchase cookies! 5% of profits are donated to BIPoC and LGBTQ+ students.
You can learn more about her background and mission on her website and in this article!
Cookies also come in vegan/gluten free varieties!
