Hi Everyone!
Hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing thanksgiving break. Despite how it feels, there’s less than a month before school comes to an end, and Anabel’s will be open for our final week of the semester! We’re excited to see how much you all have loved Anabel’s, and are planning some great things for next semester!
Unfortunately, local produce is mostly out of season, but that doesn’t mean we won’t have fresh produce in the store! This week, we’re offering broccoli, apples, great local radicchio, and local greenhouse-grown tomatoes, along with lots of varieties of cheeses and breads! Keep your eyes peeled for a big sale sometime this week…
Final Community Dinner Friday!
Join us for our community dinner with prepackaged sandwiches from a local vendor December 3rd at 6 pm with a movie too! Please RSVP here:

Food Drive:
Please consider donating any shelf stable foods at Anabel's this week in preparation for winter break! All donations go to Ithaca's Friendship Donations Network. Canned goods, beans, nuts, and healthy granola bars and other snacks are a few suggestions :) Thank you!
Recipe Corner:
Anabel's still has some awesome squash in stock! Here's another fun way to cook and enjoy it :)
It goes great with toast, as a condiment to your leftover thanksgiving turkey, or as a filling for desserts!
Also check out the blog post on Soup Joumou, a Haitan soup also using squash! https://www.anabelsgrocery.org/post/soup-joumou-a-recipe-in-context
Best of luck with your final few weeks of the semester, and we hope to see you in the store this week!
