Produce Highlights
This week in Anabel’s we have some great additions from local sellers. Come in and check them out!
Purple cauliflower, Italian black bell eggplant, baby bok choy, and acorn starry night squash from Stick and Stone Farm
Red sweet peppers from Remembrance Farm
Butternut squash and beefsteak tomatoes from Plowbreak Farm
Hosui brown Asian pears and harrow sweet pears from FingerLakes Farms
Along with these we will again have many of out tried-and-true great produce from our great vendors. Be sure to come see all that Anabel’s has to offer :)

Anabel Focus Group Opportunity
This semester, we are leading 1-2 focus groups to determine how Anabel's Grocery can continue to grow and improve its environmental initiatives! Examples include encouraging shoppers to reduce plastic use by reusing containers and egg cartons, creating a punchcard program that rewards shoppers for purchases made with reusable containers, and minimizing food waste via compost and fresh produce flash sales. As compensation for your participation, we will give you 10% off on any purchase of your choice at Anabel's this semester. Based on participant availability, we will likely hold the focus group on Saturday, October 19th from 3-4:30pm and/or Monday, October 21st from 1-2:30pm. However, even if you're not available at these days and times but are interested in participating, please indicate this on the form! Your input will help us brainstorm ways to improve our existing initiatives and continue to reduce waste at Anabel's. We appreciate your support!
